All 1,950 Don Bosco students took part in a solidarity race on March 29 on the establishment’s track. They mobilized a lot to make donations to the Emmaüs association, to send a container for the benefit of Burkina Faso.

Around fifty primary, middle and high school students came on Friday May 31, 2024 to hand over a check for €4,000 to Emmaüs. This educational project has a lot of value, we had two types of actions: the solidarity race, and a shared meal which brought together many students on March 28,” explains Mikaël Angin, director of the establishment.

It was about taking part in the low-cost lunch, prepared by the establishment, but at the usual price. This generated €2,500 and €1,300 was collected from the solidarity race,” explains the director.

To round up the sum of €3,800, the establishment therefore added €200, to pay a check for €4,000. It’s really a lot, thank you”, said with emotion, Christophe Parignello, companion in Fougères and who worked to collect donations to send a container to Burkina Faso.

Three other companions and Gérard Hautbois, a volunteer in Mayenne, accompanied him. You showed great solidarity,” recognizes the latter.
