A particularly dramatic evening on the roads of the Oise. Two people lost their lives in two separate accidentson the evening of Sunday October 20, 2024, shortly after 8 p.m.
A 17-year-old boy dies
A 17-year-old boy lost his life near Crèvecoeur-le-Grand. He was traveling on his scooteron the RD930, when a collision with a car occurred.
A lighting defect on the two-wheeler could be the cause, we learned Oise News. A hypothesis which will have to be confirmed during the gendarmerie investigation.
Fatal road exit on the RD1017
That same evening, a vehicle made a leaving the road while he was traveling on the RD1017, at Gournay-sur-Aronde. The vehicle ended up in a tree.
“Only this vehicle was involved in this accident,” confirm the authorities. Inside, a 35-year-old man died despite the intervention of emergency services.
