Elected LR-RN deputy for the fifth constituency of on July 7, Alexandre Allegret-Pilot was attacked by demonstrators on Sunday October 20 during a fair organized in Vigan.

The arrival of the Ciottist deputy from Gard, Alexandre Allegret-Pilot, to the Cévennes Apple and Sweet Onion Fair organized in Vigan was eventful. This Sunday, October 20, the elected RN-LR of the fifth constituency of Gard was floured by a demonstrator, report Le Midi Libre and Objectif Gard.

On a video published by Objectif Gard, we can see demonstrators surrounding Alexandre Allegret-Pilot and banging on pots before chanting “We are here”. One of them also wears a sign around her neck with the inscription “Allegret-Pilot resignation! Shame on you”.

“The goal was to intimidate an elected official of the Republic”

The MP first received what appeared to be a vegetable on the head before being covered in flour by a protester. The gendarmes then arrested and placed in police custody a man in his thirties living in Vigan for violence against a person in charge of a public service mission, specify Midi Libre and Objectif Gard.

“A small far-left group wanted to prevent me from visiting the fair. I was threatened verbally and physically. Individuals chanted that my place was not in Vigan,” denounced Bleu Gard Lozère Alexandre Allegret-Pilot, who announced that he had filed a complaint.

“The goal was to intimidate an elected representative of the Republic so that he would not have the freedom to come and go in his own constituency,” he denounced. “When we claim to be left-wing and oppose fundamental freedoms, that seems extremely serious to me.”

Winner in the second round of the legislative elections against the candidate of La France insoumise Michel Sala with 51.6% of the votes, Alexandre Allegret-Pilot has also been a municipal councilor for the commune of Fillière (Haute-Savoie) since 2020.

The name of Alexandre Allegret-Pilot appeared last July in a case of a loan that he had granted as head of the business restructuring mission at the Ministry of the Economy and revealed by Le Monde.

The loan of 1.3 million euros to the company Vitis Gallica, which did not then have a Siret number, was repealed the following week in the Official Journal
