This Friday, October 18, the big closing day of the fortnight of Mental Health Information Weeks (SISM) in Tarn-et-Garonne took place at the Jacques Chirac sports complex in . The culmination of a fortnight rich in events intended to raise awareness among the general public about mental health issues and the importance of moving to preserve it: hikes, creation of dances, Basque strength, pétanque, various games, but also film debates, round tables, sedentary lifestyle prevention workshops, open days, etc. All concocted and implemented by the 13 structures of the Collective of Actors in Mental Health of Tarn-et-Garonne (CASM 82), of which the Adiad Association is a part, as well as their multiple partners. As a common thread throughout this fortnight, several adapted sports Olympics were organized at different locations in the department, all leading to this big final day on October 18, for which the city services of Montauban had generously made the room available. multi-sport. Various adapted sports workshops were led during this day by the Tarn et Garonne Adapted Sports Departmental Committee, BOUGER POUR SOR SOR SOR and the UFOLEP TARN GARONNE DEPARTMENTAL COMMITTEE: kinball, Poull Ball, archery, laser rifle, mini -golf, blowgun and large interactive virtual wall.
More than 130 participants of all ages More than 130 participants of all ages were able to share good times of conviviality throughout the day. This concluded with the closing ceremony of this fortnight of SISM, in the presence of: – Clarisse HEULLAND, deputy to the Town Hall of Montauban and president of the commission specializing in mental health, – Angèle LLOUCHART, municipal councilor delegated to disability, – Catherine BOURDONCLE, vice-president of the Tarn-et-Garonne Departmental Council, – Marie CASTRO, vice-president of the Region. The opportunity to thank all the structures and professionals involved in the success of these SISM, as well as to congratulate all the participants in the Olympics. Everyone was able to leave with one of the 130 medals made for the occasion by the ESAT wood workshop at the Pôle Pousiniès-Bordeneuve de l’Arseaa – solidarity action. A friendly drink concluded this beautiful day, around pastries and other pastries offered by Maison Mauranes. Alongside these activities, participants were able to admire some of the works from the traveling exhibition displayed by the Adiad Association as well as a retrospective video of the magnificent photos of the fortnight’s Olympics taken by the PHOTOGRAPHIE CREATION COMMUNICATION association.
