The Schlager boom starts again in Dortmund on October 18th and 19th. The ARD show event once again attracts some visitors to the Westfalenhalle.

Dortmund – “Everything sparkles! Everything glitters” – that has been the motto of the “Schlagerbooom” with Florian Silbereisen for years. The event will take place again in Dortmund’s Westfalenhalle in 2024. This time visitors can register on October 18th and 19th Look forward to live music and a party atmosphere. Schlagerbooom 2024 in Dortmund: Admission, arrival, parking at the Westfalenhalle

As the Westfalenhalle states, the begins inlet on both days at 5:30 p.m. Important: All visitors must be in the location by 7:30 p.m. It is not clear from the homepage whether admission is still possible afterwards.

For Wheelchair users and people with walking difficulties The entrance is to the right of the main entrance. Only the interior is barrier-free. Access to the higher ranks is only possible via stairs.

The beginning The event is at 8:15 p.m. on both days, the “Schlagerbooom” lasts until around 11:30 p.m. The organizer also points out the recording for TV: “The ticket buyer gives his/her consent to the publication of his/her pictures from the event,” it says. On October 19th, the “Schlagerbooom” will be broadcast live on ARD.

Arrival and parking at the Westfalenhalle: Drivers should leave early enough

The procedure for parking and Arrival is no different from other events in the Westfalenhallen. Visitors therefore have several options to reach the location in Dortmund.

The Westfalenhallen, centrally located on the Rheinlanddamm in Dortmund, is easily accessible by car and public transport. Drivers should still allow enough time and prepare for possible traffic jams.

The Westfalenhallen are already well signposted on the surrounding motorways. If you use a navigation system, you should enter the address “Maurice-Vast-Str.” and follow the signs in the nearby area. A site map is available for better orientation on the site. Parking fees are 9 euros per vehicle in all parking areas.

Parking at the Westfalenhalle: This is what you need to pay attention to during the “Schlagerbooom”.

In total there are around 8,800 at the Westfalenhallen Parking spaces available for cars and buses. Due to the limited capacities, the hall recommends that concert goers use alternative parking options such as underground garages, parking garages or park-and-ride areas in Dortmund city center and the surrounding districts. A detailed overview of these parking options is available online.

The Dortmunder Stadtwerke (DSW21) also recommends using public transport to get there. Various lines are available for this purpose. The subway lines U42 (“Theodor-Fliedner-Heim” stop) and U45 and U46 (“Westfalenhallen” stop) take visitors directly to the event hall. Alternatively, bus lines 448, 450 and 452 can be used.

Visitors who come with one Electric vehicle If you arrive, you will find two charging stations with a total of four charging options near the Westfalenhallen. One charging station is located at the A4 parking lot at Rheinlanddamm 200, the second opposite at the Rote Erde stadium at Strobelallee 45.

People with disabilities who have one blue additional ID card You can park in parking areas A3 and A4. These parking spaces are reserved for visitors with special needs and are located in close proximity to the halls.
