Othman El Ferdaous was born on January 13, 1979. He graduated from Audencia Business School in Nantes in 2003 and obtained a master’s degree in journalism from Sciences Po Paris in 2008, as well as an executive master’s degree in 2016 from ENA, in within the framework of the cycle of advanced European studies.
He began his career as a consulting auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Paris, where he worked from 2003 to 2006. Subsequently, he held the position of director in charge of mid Since July 2016, he has been manager of Europa Conseil in Casablanca.
He has also published several works, including “The poorly anticipated consequences of the Lisbon Treaty on Morocco’s European policy” in January 2017 and “The Silk Roads: the Maghreb is helplessly witnessing the economic decline of Europe”.
On April 5, 2017, he was appointed Secretary of State to the Minister of Industry, Investment, Trade and the Digital Economy, responsible for Investment, a position he held until October 2019.
On April 7, 2020, HM King Mohammed VI appointed him Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. Currently, he is ambassador of Rabat to Ivory Coast,
