As a reminder, the events took place late Tuesday afternoon, near Boulevard Malesherbes, in the 8e district of the capital. The 27-year-old cyclist died on the public road, “after a dispute with the driver of a vehicle,” detailed the Paris prosecutor’s office. The driver, aged 52, was arrested on the spot, while certain witnesses “perceived a voluntary attitude on the part of the driver when the car moved towards the cyclist”.
For the moment, a murder investigation has been opened and entrusted to 1is judicial police district.
