why is the construction site of the La Marina residence in Hautmont having a delay in lighting?

At the end of January, Hautmont town hall announced the 90-unit La Marina project. Although everything seemed ready for marketing this summer, the project is slightly behind schedule.

The “La Marina” residence project supported by the Belgian developer Aboréale will be delayed. Recently, Mayor Stéphane Wilmotte told us that the building permit was in the process of being filed and that “the architect of the Bâtiments de had given his agreement”.

The “La Marina” project will indeed be launched

The work was to begin soon, but “unfortunately there will be a delay”. Indeed, in this sector near the Sambre, “the file around the water law has not been completed until the end”. But the mayor says it, “the promoter has confirmed his project which will be launched as soon as the agreements have been given”. A little less than 90 housing units are planned. On the ground floor, several commercial cells should be proposed.

The law on water
Any person who wishes to carry out a project having a direct or indirect impact on the aquatic environment (watercourses, lakes, groundwater, flood zones, wetlands, etc.) must submit this project to the application of the Law on water (Declaration or Authorization file).
