JIMIN is one of Lee Jin Ho’s victims, as confirmed by BIGHIT Music today.
This October 14, Lee Jin Ho, a member of the show “Knowing Bros”, revealed that he had stolen money from several celebrities due to his huge gambling debts incurred while playing online gambling games.
The actor was removed from the show “Knowing Bros” following this, and the media 10Asia has since made revelations about his debts and the people who would have been his victims and from whom he would have “borrowed” money without any intention to reimburse them.
According to the media, even if Lee Jin Ho claims to repay what he can every month and intends to repay everything, his total debt would amount to several hundred thousand euros.
Among the celebrity victims to whom he allegedly promised reimbursement to extract large sums of money from them, the media cites JIMIN (BTS), as well as Lee Soo Geun, Young Tak, Ha Sung Woon, and several producers and screenwriters.
If we are to believe the media’s information, these loans can now be turned against those who trusted him. This is because they risk facing heavy tax charges from the authorities as these transactions have been classified as “gifts” instead of being considered “loans” if no official papers have been signed to approve the loan. Some have already chosen to file a fraud complaint against Lee Jin Ho and request the seizure of his appearance fees to appear on shows.

The agency revealed that Lee Jin Ho contacted JIMIN in 2022, claiming to need money urgently and needed to borrow 100 million won (75,000 euros) in less than a week. If a paper was signed between JIMIN and him to make this loan, Lee Jin Ho did not respect the repayment agreement. When JIMIN realized that Lee Jin Ho had no intention of repaying him, he allegedly showed immense leniency and simply told him sympathetically: “Just pay me back in the next 10 years.” »
