Of the twenty apprentices in the running, 4 received a prize awarded by the Society of Members of the Legion of Honor and by the Department.
On Wednesday October 9, the award ceremony for SMLH apprentices (Society of Members of the Legion of Honor) of Oise was held at the Hôtel du Département, for the second time in a row. Nadège Lefebvre, president of the department, and Colonel Jean-Louis Montillet, president of the SMLH, presented 20 deserving apprentices with diplomas, medals and rewards in order to congratulate them for their academic results and for their apprenticeship journey in a company. “Whether they come from the field of agriculture, construction, mechanics, catering or commerce; these young people embody excellence and the future within our territory,” underlined Jean-Louis Montillet. “The participants were able to defend their professional projects with passion and enthusiasm, they were distinguished for defending and honoring the virtues of learning,” recalled, for her part, Nadège Lefebvre.
4 juries were present for the occasion, scattered in 4 different rooms. After the 20 competing apprentices introduced themselves, a lively deliberation took place at the end of which a general classification was made. In the end, 4 “winners” were chosen, whose talents and motivation caught the eye of the jurors. The Senlisien Antoine Rose obtained the prize of excellence, he will be called by the national headquarters of the SMLH to represent the Department for the national final which will be held at the Salle Gaveau, in Paris, on December 14, 2024.
