A mathematics teacher from the Robert-Doisneau high school in Corbeil-Essonnes (Essonne) was attacked by two students from the establishment on the premises this Thursday early in the afternoon. An investigation into violence against a person responsible for a public service mission has been launched. The first elements collected show that the teacher asked one of the two high school students not to wear his cap in the building, indicates The Parisian.
Verbal and physical violence
Faced with the teenager’s refusal, the teacher allegedly confiscated the cap. Its owner, accompanied by another student, then allegedly caught up with the teacher. The two young people first insulted the victim, who was then hit before another member of the high school staff intervened.
The teacher filed a complaint, and the public prosecutor announced that an individual had been taken into custody. The mother of one of the two suspects expressed her intention to file a complaint against the professor. The latter was received by the rectorate of Versailles (Yvelines) which offered him support. A time for discussion was also to be organized at the high school.
