Mirabaud and Gonet, a contrasting decade in figures

As with Lombard Odier and Pictet last week, we looked at the figures of two other historic, but much smaller, players in the Geneva banking sector. Over the last ten years, Mirabaud and Gonet have also changed their status and started to publish their results.

Founded in 1819, Mirabaud became, in 2014, a limited partnership by shares currently held by four partners (there were six in 2014). Gonet, created in 1845, changed its form in 2016 to become a limited company, whose majority shareholder has been Arab Bank (Switzerland) Ltd since the end of 2022. Their annual reports show distinct trajectories, which are partly explained by differences in size.
