Initially planned to Pavilly (Seine-Maritime)the meeting of the 8th round of the Coupe de France between Bolbec (R1) and the Stade Malherbe Caen (Ligue 2) will finally take place at the D'Ornano stadium in Caen (Calvados)this Saturday, November 30, 2024 (1:30 p.m.).
Match reversed for security reasons
The Prefecture of Seine-Maritime, fearing clashes between supporters of Rouen, Le Havre and Caen, refused to hold the match in ex-Haute-Normandie.
The two clubs were notified on Wednesday November 27. SM Caen therefore had three days to organize the event.
Given the limited deadlines and organizational constraints linked to this change of location, Stade Malherbe Caen had to adapt its reception conditions.
Two open stands
Only two stands will therefore be open: the Borrelli stands for Caen supporters, and a reserved stand to Bolbec supporters.
Ticketing at the store and at the counter
For the Caen public, tickets will be on sale “exclusively to the shop official”, from this Thursday, November 28 (1:30 p.m. – 6 p.m.).
On the day of the match, the gate 10 counter will be open at 10 a.m., and the shop from 12:30 p.m. The stadium doors will also open at 12:30 p.m.
How to watch the match?
Please note that the meeting will be broadcast live on the Stade Malherbe Caen YouTube channel, from 1 p.m.
