Saliba and Kolo-Muani invest in MMA

MMA is attracting more and more people and, as a result, new investors.

A booming sport (500 million active fans worldwide and a rather young audience), particularly in , MMA attracts beyond its own borders. The European organization, AresMMA, newly created last spring by the SLAM investment fund and Ciryl Gane, one of the best national representatives of the discipline, has just welcomed new investors from the world of sports and entertainment.

Saliba, Kolo-Muani and Gobert join the SLAM fund

Two of them are footballers, members of the current French football team: Arsenal defender William Saliba and Saint-Germain striker Randal Kolo-Muani. They are accompanied by NBA basketball player Rudy Gobert and influencer, Mister V. They joined SLAM, a fund focused on the sports, luxury, arts and music industries (hence the acronym, SLAM ).

A 360 degree project to develop MMA

Last May, SLAM took over the MMA organization, Ares Fighting Championship, as well as the discipline’s athlete representation agency, the Management Factory, and the first national club, the MMA Factory. SLAM already has other renowned athletes, such as the recently retired footballer, Raphael Varane, the Formula 1 driver, Pierre Gasly, or the former fencer and Minister of Youth and Sports, Laura Flessel.
