An evening that went wrong without us yet knowing why. This Saturday, October 12, 2024, a shooting broke out in front of a nightclub in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, causing one dead and one seriously injuredlearned Paris news from a source close to the investigation and the prosecution.
A man taken into custody
According to the town hall of the 18th arrondissement of Paris, an “altercation” broke out in front of the Beach-Club nightclub located at 33 avenue de la Porte d’Aubervilliers around 9 a.m.
After spending the evening in the establishment, three men left in the direction of Aubervilliers (Seine-Saint-Denis). Although we do not yet know the motives, the shooter would have pulled out “a handgun and shot the other two twice”. The victim was hit in the abdomen, while the other seriously injured person was reportedly shot in the leg.
The prosecution indicates that a man born in 1995 was placed in custody on sight this Saturday early in the afternoon, without specifying whether it was the shooter who had fled.
An investigation was opened for “intentional homicide and attempted intentional homicide”. She was entrusted to the 2nd district of the judicial police.
