A new online media dedicated exclusively to Switzerland’s ecological and energy transition is born. SwissPowerShift.ch wants to document, monitor and analyze public and private initiatives aimed at achieving carbon neutrality in Switzerland. It will be formally launched next Monday.

This new digital platform intends to “highlight, through its reports and analyses, the technological solutions and innovations of the greatest economic transformation since the industrial era”, explain its two co-editors in chief Pierre Veya and Olivier Wurlod on Friday in a press release.

It also wants to give a voice to all stakeholders, in particular to recognized experts and specialists, with the ambition of improving knowledge of public opinion. In addition to news coverage, the site will offer major interviews, a daily review of the Swiss and international press, a summary of scientific and economic studies, columns and a weekly letter summarizing the main facts of the past week.

SwissPowerShift.ch benefits from the support of the International Energy Film Foundation (FIFEL) for its launch. Founded in 1994, it aims to improve public knowledge of energy-related issues. The new media does not pursue a profit motive and relies on the support of private and public donations to develop sustainably, it is underlined.
