New nursery more than welcome at Eaux-Vives

The new English nursery Jebbrecently inaugurated in Eaux-Vives, comes like a breath of fresh air to respond to the lack of preschool places! By 2026, 59 children will benefit from this colorful and warm space. A tribute to a pioneer of children’s rights, this crèche embodies a strong commitment to equal opportunities and the future of little ones.

Young people collect 47,000 francs for sick children

The tournament brought together eight tennis hopefuls from French-speaking Switzerland on September 14 and 15.

Two Geneva high school students organized the Tennesis Tournament at the Eaux-Vives club in mid-September, bringing together young tennis talents for a noble cause. Their initiative made it possible to raise 47,850 francs for the benefit of the Cansearch Foundationdedicated to research in pediatric onco-hematology at HUG. A nice first success for their Play to Save association which combines sport and solidarity.

For Andrej Severa, maths has almost no secrets

At only 16 years old, Andrej Severa, passionate about mathematicswon a silver medal at the Central European Olympiad. This Geneva college student, who is already taking courses at EPFL, stands out for his precocious talent. He is aiming for the 2025 International Olympiads in Australia, dreaming of a promising future at Cambridge or EPFL.

A construction site reveals medieval fortifications

During work near Saint-Pierre Cathedral, exceptional medieval fortifications have been discovered: a 13th century walle century, in perfect condition, and a 15th century cellare century. These remains, rare witnesses of the city’s defensive past, recall the history of the palace of the bishops of Geneva and the transformations of the district over the centuries. A fascinating find!

A book brings together the favorite recipes of 25 friends

Little Marie lights up a 6P French-speaking class
