Air Corsica, accompanied by its privileged partners: the Corsica Tourism Agency and the Toulouse-Blagnac airport (Haute-Garonne), announced the opening of the new Toulouse-Bastia line effective since October 5.
On October 5, Air Corsica, in partnership with the Corsica Tourism Agency and Toulouse-Blagnac airport (Haute-Garonne), announced the opening of a new annual air link linking Toulouse to Bastia. This new line, operated by two weekly flights (Mondays and Fridays or Fridays and Sundays depending on the period), marks a key step in strengthening trade between Occitania and Corsica.
A strategic connection for travelers
With a renewed fleet, made up of Airbus A320neo and ATR72-600, Air Corsica is establishing itself as a major player in air transport between Toulouse and Corsica. The establishment of this new line was made possible thanks to the company’s base of operations in Toulouse, which also serves other lines, notably for Airbus. From summer 2025, Air Corsica will further increase its capacity with the addition of a 186-seat Airbus A320, expanding its offering to meet growing demand.
Philippe Crebassa, Chairman of the Management Board of Toulouse-Blagnac airport, underlined the importance of this new line, which now connects Toulouse to both the north and south of Corsica with Bastia and Ajaccio. “This expanded offering allows our travelers to combine entry and exit points on the island, thus providing perfect flexibility throughout the year. »
A strengthened network and an extended offer
Present at Toulouse airport since 2013, Air Corsica continues to expand its network with nearly 400,000 passengers transported between Toulouse and Corsica. For the year 2025, nearly 64,000 seats will be available to the four Corsican airports (Bastia, Ajaccio, Calvi and Figari). The company will also be the only one to offer flights between Toulouse and Corsica during the winter months, which will guarantee continuity of service for travelers, whether they are traveling for professional, family or tourist reasons.
Angèle Bastiani, President of the Corsican Tourism Agency, welcomed this new opening: “This direct flight, available throughout the year, responds to growing demand from Occitan travelers. »
Increased flexibility for travelers
Tickets for this new Toulouse-Bastia line start at €69 including tax one way. This price includes one checked baggage of 23 kg as well as one cabin baggage of 8 kg per person. Passengers can now book their tickets via the Air Corsica website or through partner travel agencies.
This new line is part of the development strategy of Air Corsica, which continues to strengthen its presence in Occitanie, as recalled by Marie-Hélène Casanova-Servas, President of the Supervisory Board of Air Corsica: “Air Corsica enriches and completes its offer in Toulouse, already connected to the three other island platforms for more than ten years. »
With this new offer, Air Corsica confirms its role as a mobility facilitator between Corsica and the continent, by offering travelers ever more flexible and accessible solutions, whatever the reason for their trip.
