Italy-Morocco, Abdessamad el Jaouzi receives the Gazzetta Diplomatica Prize

The communications officer of the Moroccan embassy in Italy, Abdessamad El Jaouzireceived the Gazzetta Diplomatica Prize with the motivation of “impeccable communicator, attentive researcher, who has distinguished himself in the diplomatic field through his professionalism”.

On the occasion of the presentation of this honor to the Senate, El Jaouzi declared: “With great emotion and deep gratitude, I would like to thank for the honor conferred on me with this certificate of merit.” In his speech, El Jaouzi, Italian-Moroccan, thanked “the jury, the president Stefano Benazzo and the family of Ambassador Giovanni Jannuzzi, and the promoter of this illustrious initiative – the director of the “Gazzetta diplomata” – Marco Finelli, whose commitment to the recognition and enhancement of professional merits represents for all of us an incentive to continue with dedication and passion.” El Jaouzi then declared: “I am proud to represent two-thousand-year-old cultures which have enriched and are constantly enriched in their specificities and diversity. This recognition celebrates not only personal and professional commitment but also the fruit of years of research devoted to relations between the two countries, to the construction of social, cultural and economic bridges and to the links which unite our very ancient communities which have their roots in our Mediterranean”.
