A grant of 500,000 euros was granted by the Haute-Savoie departmental council to the town of Lovagny, in order to rehabilitate its town center.

A project supported with 500,000 euros by the departmental council, the rehabilitation of the town center of Lovagny, in Haute-Savoie, is part of the Rurality Plan. Its objective is to modernize and secure the heart of the village, visited this Tuesday, October 8 by Martial Saddier, president of the council, and Henri Carelli, mayor of Lovagny, accompanied by several elected officials.

In the project to revalorize the center of the commune of Lovagny, with its 1,200 inhabitants, several areas of improvement were noted: the renovation of the surroundings of the church, the requalification of aging public spaces and the taking into account of regulatory provisions of the Local Urban Planning Plan (PLU).

This redevelopment also provides for the improvement of parking lots, the resumption of the RD14 and RD64 as well as pedestrian paths to the town’s school group. The departmental subsidy represents 27% of the total cost of operations, estimated at 1.8 million euros.
