The Maine-et-Loire department has announced the opening of the 2024-2025 season of shows for young audiences with theater, humor, dance, storytelling, circus and music shows on the program.

For the Department, “ the objective is to offer a wide range of cultural activities for children and pre-teens, ranging from birth to 14 years old ».

Inclusive shows

For the first time, the schedule of shows for young audiences is accessible only online: “ This new platform is designed to be updated throughout the year, allowing families to plan their outings », Explains the Department.

Users can thus filter events according to different criteria such as the age of the children, the type of show, the date or the municipality.

This year, the accessibility of shows is also highlighted thanks to the introduction of pictograms indicating the adaptability of shows for various types of disabilities, including visual, hearing, mental or physical. This is the case of the show “Ludilo”, featuring two actresses-manipulators of objects, which will be accessible to children with mental, hearing or visual disabilities. It will take place on Thursday October 31, 2024 in Ponts-de-Cé.

In total, the program includes more than 160 performance dates, ranging from theater to music and dance, which will take place throughout the department from September 2024 to June 2025.

« Shows for young audiences are specifically designed by artists, taking into account the age, maturity and attention span of children », Indicates the Department.

Families can consult all the dates of shows for young audiences on the Maine-et-Loire department website.
