The Moselle firefighters were mobilized to take care of a victim seriously injured in the legs, this Monday, October 7, 2024, in Uckange in Moselle, late in the afternoon.
The victim, a 23-year-old man, was on the public highway, rue Anatole France, near the Beethoven bus stop. Based on the appearance of his injuries and initial findings, investigators believe that he was injured by one or more gunshots. The man was transferred to hospital but his life prognosis was not serious.
The gendarmes from the Uckange brigade were deployed to the scene and the Thionville public prosecutor’s office was quickly alerted. An investigation is opened to clarify the circumstances.
