He will have tried everything to flee the police. I just don’t.

The story begins on the night of Friday October 4 to Saturday October 5, 2024, at the intersection between rue du Général-de-Gaulle and rue Cousin-Corblin, in Elbeuf.

It was nearly 1:45 a.m. when a police rescue crew, in patrol in the area, sees a Peugeot 3008 which does not respect the stop sign at the intersection.

But when the police try to stop the driver to check him, he runs away.

He tries to hide in the street

A short chase begins, in the streets of Elbeuf then Caudebec. Arriving on rue Alfred, in the center of Caudebec, the driver “parked and fled on foot”, according to a police source.
Chased, he was finally caught and arrested while he was tried to hide between cars parked on the street.

The fugitive, a young man born in 1998 and who lives in Elbeuf, was driving with a license suspended and under alcohol. During the inspection, he presented a rate of 0.46 mg of alcohol per liter of exhaled air, which is much more than the authorized 0.25.

He was placed in police custody.
