Winner yesterday against Guinea (8-2), Senegal won again this Saturday (7-2). This is their last friendly match with a national team before leaving for Cairo.
As in their first meeting yesterday, the two teams neutralized each other during the first third. Guinea, well in place, stood up to Senegal. Mandione Diagne opened the scoring but Guinea managed to equalize from the penalty spot. Mamour Diagne’s volley leaves the Guinean goalkeeper no chance. Mohamed Camara will score the 2nd Guinean goal to complete this first third period (2-2).
This will be the last Guinean goal, the entry of Ousseynou Faye will do a lot of good for Mamour Diagne’s band, author of a double. Seydina Gadiaga, Amath Samb, Souleymane Kaba and Papa Samb will also shake the Guinean nets. Senegal finally won (7-2). Two victories in as many outings, i.e. 15 goals scored and 4 conceded.
Another friendly meeting is planned against a local selection before the departure for Egypt scheduled for next week.
