Diamniadio, Oct. 5 (APS) – The Ahmadou Mahtar Mbow University of Diamniadio was cleared of its waste on Saturday by its students and members of its staff, reinforced by Sonaged agents, on the occasion of the fifth edition of the national cleaning day established by the head of state, Bassirou Diomaye, noted the APS.

“We came to respond to the call of the President of the Republic during this day of +Sétal sunu rééw+. The entire university came to respond to this call to beautify our university space, to make it very clean,” explained the director of the Regional Center for University Works (CROUS) of Diamniadio, Fama Dieng.

She recalled that Ahmadou Mactar Mbow University in Diamniadio has undertaken cleaning operations of all its spaces and sites since October 2. She points out that this cleaning is coupled with a disinfection operation.

”So, we had anticipated today. We once again reiterate our commitment to making our university clean, and to this end, I call for the participation of all students, as well as university staff,” she added.

Representatives of the territorial administration, Sonaged agents and CROUS staff took part in this “Sétal sunu rééw” activity.
