One person was injured during an armed attack that occurred during the night from Saturday to Sunday in Frampton, in Chaudière-Appalaches.

The MRC de la Nouvelle-Beauce police officers were called around 3 a.m. to go to the 2e rank at Frampton. According to information from TVA Nouvelles, it is the official premises of the Red Devils, a motorcycle club affiliated with the Hells Angels.

This same premises was also targeted by shooting last December and was the subject of a major search by the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) in October.

It would therefore be another event linked to the war which pits bikers against other criminal groups in the greater Quebec region. Tensions have been high in the region for several months.

Saturday’s victim was reportedly hit by a projectile, but there is no fear for his life, said Nicolas Scholtus, spokesperson for the SQ.

The investigation was transferred to the SQ’s major crimes section. The scene was protected and forensic technicians were still analyzing it at the time of writing.
