Albert II of Monaco pays a private visit to the Château de Mayenne

In second part in the afternoon, from 4 p.m., on Sunday May 5, 2024, its Serene HighnessPrince Albert II of Monaco, went in the direction of castle from Mayenne.

He first took a detour via the parkallowing you to appreciate the view, and the lush green vegetation of spring.

Then, he entered the castle of Mayenne, for a private visitwithout the public being able to join mainly for space reasons.

He was able to appreciate the story of the town of Mayenne, the discoveries that were made there, the history of this monument, certain parts of which are the oldest constructions in the city, dating from the 10^e centuries.

He listened attentively to the museum director.

After these memorable moments which lasted an hour in total, the Prince went back down to ground floor.
