Haute-Savoie: in 2025, the department will host two stages of the mountain bike world cup

The calendar for the 2025 MTB World Cup has just been revealed by the Union Cycliste International (UCI) and Warner Bros Discovery. After having been the scene of several stages in 2023 and 2024, the Haute-Savoie department will once again host the World Cup in 2025.

En 2023, the MTB World Cup stopped in Haute-Savoie, at the Portes du Soleil. This year, the competition returned to our land, to Combloux, Megève and the resort of Les Gets. Haute-Savoie will once again host the mountain bike world cup in 2025. Announcement made this Wednesday, October 2, 2024, by the Departmental Council, following the unveiling of the 2025 event calendar by the Union Cycliste International and Warner Bros Discovery.

The location not yet known

In total, the department will host two stages made up of six events in total, during the 2025 World Cup. However, the location of these events has not yet been revealed by the organizers, nor by the Department.

Hosting the MTB World Cup, for the third time, resonates with the objective of the Department of Haute-Savoie, which is to become a host land for international sporting events. As a reminder, this is where the UCI Cycling World Championships will take place in 2027.
