More than 1,000 people attended both services. Sunday, September 22, the Protestant Lutheran-Reformed Church of the Holy Spirit in Heidelberg (Germany) organized two special celebrations, at 11 a.m. and then at 1 p.m. As part of the cult series “Citykirche Rock ‘n’ Pop”, these religious services, entitled “Oh my God”, after the pop artist’s song, have in fact highlighted honor Adele and her relationship with religion.

Seven titles by the British singer were performed by Tine Wiechmann, an artist from Hamburg. The pastor even allowed himself a dance to the title Rolling in the Deep (Touching the bottom), accompanied by other followers, “under the loud applause of those present”, notes a report published by the Church.
