The big-hearted race Eco Run Frileuse returns to Beynes (Yvelines) on the national gendarmerie camp for a second edition, Sunday May 5, 2024.

The objective of this charity event is to bring together able-bodied people over several events – a 10 km, a 5 km and a 5 km hike – who encourage, by helping, people with disabilities.


Children suffering from autism spectrum disorders

Children suffering from autism spectrum disorders (ASD), with the Joker association as well as sick children in hospital will participate in the races in wheelchairs or on joëlettes transported by firefighters or police officers.

Children will be able to participate in the Frileuse Kids. For young people aged 6 to 13, registrations are free. Parents can race with them. Different distances depending on ages: 6-7 years (400 m); 8-9 years (800 m); 10-11 years: (1200 m); 12-13 years old: (2 km).

The Centaur of the gendarmerie and the armored vehicle of the RAID, the Blackwolf

For this 2e Eco Run Frileuse edition finds its partnership with the national gendarmerie which is on its land in Beynes, at the Frileuse camp.

On this occasion, visitors will be able to discover the professions of the gendarmerie and the police with the exceptional presence of the “Centaure” armored vehicle of the national gendarmerie.

They will be able to see a demonstration of the gendarmerie dog brigade with their police dogs. They will discover the bikers of the national gendarmerie as well as those of the CRS 1 in uniform. On this occasion, children will be able to ride the gendarmerie’s motorcycles and quads.

RAID with the Blackwolf. Finally, the French Freestyle football champion, Marc le Bouteiller, will give a demonstration.

Eco run Frileuse, in Beynes, Sunday May 5. Running races and demonstrations on the national gendarmerie site. Races: 10 km, 5 km and 5 km hike. Frileuses Kids: from 400 m to 2 km for children aged 6 to 13 (free registration for children). Registration possible on Saturday, May 4 at the Philippe-Cousteau gymnasium, in Beynes, between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. No registration on site on race day.
