This Sunday, May 5, around 1,500 children from the four corners of Lot-et-Garonne are expected in Boé.

This Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., all basketball schools in the U7 to U11 category will meet for the major annual mini-basketball tournament organized by the French Basketball Federation.

An anniversary date, since it is the 30th edition. More generally, mini-basketball is intended to introduce young people under the age of 11 to sporting life in general and more particularly to the discovery of basketball.

Appointment is made at the COJC in Boé

Today, more than 182,000 members play mini-basketball, or 29.7% of the total number of members of the French Basketball Federation. The equipment is suitable for children who play with small balls (size 3 or 5) on adjustable baskets (2.60 m).

This year again, the event will take place on the grounds and car parks of the COJC multi-sport complex in Boé. Approximately more than 1,500 children from the four corners of the department come together to play basketball all day long. Refreshment bar and catering are available throughout the day.
