The NEF collective, for Notre Éco Fabrique, inaugurated its third location in May 2023 in Montreuil-Poulay (Mayenne). Located in the grocery store – tobacconist, taken over by one of its members with the aim of developing a lasting economic and social alliance, the association today has 129 members.

announces Cédric Mousnier, the president. The usual partners will be present: cheesemaker, market gardener, baker, herbalist, brewer, and their homemade offerings, Troc’oPlante, second-hand books and thrift stores.
Also invited: Jimmy Lambert, carpenter; Lise Esnault, seamstress and fashion designer; Gabriel Underwood, potter from Jublains; Amandine Paillasse, marquetry maker; Claudie Lacerda, transformative alchemist, specialist in lacto-fermentation and Lucie Merienne, basket maker.
Several animations
For cultural programming, it’s eclectic
, enthuses Annie de Saint-Loup, one of the administrators of the collective. The Oreille confite duo will be there to deliver musical stories under headphones; Alex & Mathilde will offer a jazz-folk-rock session. Introductions to African dance will be provided by Fatou and those to country dance by the Oisseau country dance association.
Also on site will be Life is a Game, and Nikita, its host, who will come with her wooden games; the writer-biographer Philipe Levasseur will present his book on the life of Claude Michel, Boche head. Lydie Lagrange will be present again, as well as the two choirs of Montreuil-Poulay, Les Épinglé(e)s and the Chorale Interdicte.
