REMINDER – May 5 in Saumur. Marathon: what you need to know about closed roads, diversions and parking lots

For local residents, several portions of the road will be closed. This will particularly be the case for the Saint-Hilaire-Saint-Florent – ​​Gennes Val de Loire axis (D751) from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Sunday May 5, and the Gennes bridge on Sunday between 6:15 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. The Route de la Levée linking Les Rosiers to Saumur (D952) will also be closed from 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Sunday. In Saumur, many routes will be impassable. Intramural, will be closed:
– Western part of the city center, delimited by rue d’Orléans and the military school: 7 a.m. – 10 a.m.
– Southern part of the city center, delimited by rue du Maréchal Leclerc and Pôle Balzac: 7 a.m. – 10 a.m.
– Eastern part of Place Bilange (town hall side): 7 a.m. – 4 p.m.
– Pont Cessart: 6 a.m. – 4 p.m.
– Pont Fouchard: 8 a.m. – 9 a.m.
The entire Offard Island will be closed from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., the Cessart bridge will be closed from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the Cadets bridge from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Finally, note in Saint-Hilaire-Saint-Florent, the closure of the D751 from the Motor Museum roundabout to the Abbey roundabout from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. and from rue Ackerman to the Pont de Gennes – the Rose bushes from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m.
