20 years of twinning between Condé-en-Normandie () and the German town of Elsenfeld are getting ready. The Germans will come to discover Norman traditions and customs for 4 days starting on Thursday October 3, 2024. The twinning committee indicated that half of this group ofaround thirty people would be young people.

A program with little onions

Thursday will be dedicated to discovering Condé, the market and the museum, as well as historical traces in the city. Football training will be offered to young German footballers in the afternoon.

Friday will be devoted to discovering the mining past of Saint-Clair-de-Halouze and surrounding areas with the collaboration of the writer Christian Jenvrin. In the evening, the young German footballers will meet their French counterparts for a friendly match.

Highlights of the trip

The highlight of the exchange will be the celebration of 20 years of twinning around the Maurice-Piard Park kiosk, with the official part at 11 a.m., followed by a local meal (cakes, sausages) with the contribution of the festival committee, Condé football and the city’s technical services.
