This Friday, April 26, is opening day for the Rives de Mayenne campsite and its managers Alexandra and Grégory Renard welcome the first campers who arrive despite the gloomy weather.
Reservations are going well for our second year of activity and rentals are already full on certain weekends
rejoices the couple. A new rental, La Sauterelle, a French-made wooden stopover cabin for two people suitable for itinerant campers who will be able to observe the stars, will be added to the eight other rentals that we offer, namely two lodge tents, a canvas and wood teepee, three tents on stilts and two glamping tents without forgetting the 52 pitches”.
A convivial space equipped with furniture and a fitted kitchen area is also available to hikers and cyclists.
Natural sites can be discovered nearby such as the Natura 2000 classified marsh area or the lower Angevin valleys. The campsite located near Mayenne with its river tourism and the Vélo Francette route is close to local shops and public transport lines; a tourism information point should also open in June
adds the couple.
