L The ASP 87 Soft Clowns association recently held its general meeting. The opportunity to highlight one’s actions, the soul of which is volunteering to help patients in hospitals or at home.

During 2023, ASP 87 organized important events to raise awareness of its activities in the field of palliative care.

A meeting of the six ASPs making up the “New Aquitaine” structure of the Etrela group was held in , at the Saint-Lazare municipal golf course. Thanks to a financial contribution from AG2R, the service Dream of angel by Paolo Doss aroused enthusiasm. This show, which features a philosophical clown, constitutes a small marvel of poetry. Thanks to his clever play on words, his intelligent humor and his gentle and poetic evocations of , but also of its end, he fascinated the public

Another highlight: the conference given by Professor Stéphane Moreau, hematologist, on “The announcement of serious illness and the words to say it”. Professor Moreau is in charge of palliative care, and this theme brought together a large audience of professionals in training.

Likewise, Professor Éric Fiat, philosopher, lecturer at the University of -la-Vallée and scientific expert at the End of Life Observatory, gave a conference on the theme “Is there unworthy lives? », which attracted a full house.

ASP 87 Soft Clowns is also proud to have eleven freshly trained volunteers following a rigorous curriculum. They begin their support under the kind attention of their “senior” godmother.

At the end of the meeting, the members offered a moment of conviviality to the Crédit Mutuel managers present, officially thanking them for their donation of 3,000 euros. The opportunity to share a few bubbles with Mr. Breton, Chupin and Lofficial, who make up the management team of the banking establishment, but also Paul Brutus, municipal councilor responsible for nursing homes.
