A mobilization but without the entire inter-union: the CGT, Solidaires and FSU, joined by youth organizations, are calling for a strike and demonstration this Tuesday, October 1, 2024 to demand the repeal of the pension reform and the increase in wages. “It’s the return match against pension reform“, assured CGT number one Sophie Binet this week. Several rallies are organized in Gard, one in Lozère (in Mende).
In the Gardthe first processions gather from 10 a.m. in Alès (in front of the sub-prefecture) and Uzès (in front of the town hall). In Nîmes, the gathering is organized from 2:30 p.m. in front of the Maison Carrée. Finally, in Vigan, at 6 p.m. in front of the sub-prefecture.
A Mende (Lozère), the meeting is set at Place Urbain V (11 a.m.)
