Many associations came together on Sunday September 29 for the launch of Déols en Rose. In the morning, a walk and the 31e edition of the Foulées déoloises, with 200 runners from all over the department, were the highlights of this month which will be dedicated to the fight against breast cancer in women.

In the middle of the Foulées déoloises routes, the health village had taken over the abbey meadow. Around fifteen associations for prevention and information against cancer, addictions and support for patients were present. Doctor Rita Carboni, president of the Calm association (Comme à la maison), which supports cancer patients, was mobilized with her team of volunteers as well as the League against cancer and Cegidd (Free information and screening center and diagnosis of STIs). A day punctuated by conferences such as that of Pascal Vaudin, professor and researcher in reproductive biology at the University of , who focused his intervention on endocrine disruptors. Déols en Rose will continue throughout the month with numerous activities in partnership with associations.
