After the “500 Voices for Queen” show, the same team is starting a new project called “500 voices for the most beautiful French songs” with titles by Johnny, Balavoine, Goldman, musicals, etc. on the program. In total, around twenty songs will retrace the French popular musical heritage, culminating in a performance at the Zénith d’Amiens in March 2025, with choristers, musicians and soloists on stage.
Registration for choristers is coming to an end, but there are still a few places left. To avoid abandonments (many on Queen), the production wanted to charge a fee for registration (65 euros), but the amount was fully reimbursed in places. In fact, each chorister will have a reduction of 65 euros when ordering places.
No need to know how to read a score
The material included with registration (working soundtracks and scores) will be available soon. Joint rehearsals will take place from November 2024, one Saturday in November, one Sunday in January 2025, one Saturday in February and one weekend in March, “ rather in the Amiens region “.
The two lead chefs for the Amiens team, Xavier Bourguignon and Jean-Michel Guerniou, underline with one voice: “ Those who have already experienced it know that it is a major project made up of meetings, friendship and laughter. So don’t hesitate to join the more than 350 choristers already registered. » And to finally specify: “ no need to know how to read music; a pair of ears is more than enough, a little time to immerse yourself in your voice, in the car, while jogging or walking the dog. » Candidates are invited to come forward quickly.
