The 45th edition of the African Handball Champion Clubs Championship is fast approaching. From October 10 to 19, 2024, the continent’s best teams gather in Morocco for a thrilling competition. Among them, a Senegalese club is preparing to defend the colors of its country, ASFA, reigning Senegalese champion after a remarkable career.

At the end of the draw on September 12, all the teams are now on the lookout for their opponents for the group stages. The military training that will be there during this competition is regrouping in Thiès in order to prepare effectively for the tournament which will be very competitive. Following its domination at the national level, ASFA will this time wish to demonstrate its strength at the continental level in order to win the coveted title.

ASFA is part of Pool D with Adjidja HBC from Benin, Widad Smara from Morocco and Mechal Handball Sport Club from Ethiopia. After the preliminary round, the first two teams from each group will qualify for the main tournament: quarter-finals, semi-finals and final.
