Even if the alleged crime did not occur on one of its sites, the management of the Festival d’été de Québec still collaborated in the investigation which led to the indictment for sexual assault of Canadian rapper K ‘naan.

K’naan, the artist behind the success Wavin’ Flagperformed on the Plains of Abraham as the opening act for the Black Eyed Peas.

“As the event did not take place on our sites, our contribution to the investigation remained limited. The authorities wanted to confirm that the artist had indeed played at the FEQ on July 16, 2010,” mentions BLEUFEU, who says he condemns “all forms of violence and aggression.”

“The authorities can always count on full cooperation,” we add.

Rammstein

The same year that the alleged offense in K’naan allegedly took place, members of the Rammstein team asked the FEQ organization to find them young girls to party after their concert.

Shocked, the people at the festival refused to accommodate them and even had to expel them from the corporate dressing room, where they were trying to recruit girls.
