A little hike in the Avesnois, that’s what you’re looking for. It is in Anor, in the North, that you will have to be this weekend. Walkers, mountain bikers, horse riders,… numerous routes will be offered to you.
The 16th edition of the Hiking Festival in the North, organized by the Anor Tourist Office, will take place this weekend of April 27 and 28. Many themed hikes will be offered: a nature hike to enjoy the local fauna and flora, a sophro-hike to recharge your batteries and raise awareness of the nature that surrounds us, a discovery trail to do as a family with the Baladavesnois free mobile application developed by the Regional Natural Park.
The 12 departures are scheduled at Parc Despret.
The departures for the 8, 10, 14 and 22 km will be at Haras de la Neuve Forge. Mountain bikers will make a short passage through Belgium with 3 loops.
On Saturday, onion soup will be offered upon returning from the night hike. The evening will continue around a campfire with musicians from the local group Country & Line Dance. On Sunday, many activities are scheduled (face painting, dance shows with Dance/Star and Fashion Danse). A friendly party to have with family or friends.

Saturday April 27:
– 2 p.m. Cani-Marche with Team Anim Express,
– 3 p.m. Nature hike with Alain Rivière,
– 4 p.m. Sophro-Balade by reservation at 06.11.95.24.01 (15 people maximum) with Sophie Jonnequin,
– 8 p.m. Night hike. Onion soup will be offered upon return from the night hike. The evening will continue around a campfire with musicians from the local group Country & Line Dance.
Sunday April 28:
7:30 a.m. Mountain bike rides (14-24-34 km)
- 8h Hiking (8-10-14-22 km).
- 9 a.m. Horseback riding (20 km). Meet at the Haras de La Neuve-Forge,
- 9:30 a.m. Rando Balad’Avesnois.
