CONNECTED – The Gers department has just been nominated for #hashtags 2024. And this is not the first time that it has stood out on social networks
It was during the month of August that the Gers department was recognized as one of the most successful and active departments on Instagram, as reported by our colleagues from the newspaper The Dispatch. And the community continues on its momentum, since it has just distinguished itself, once again, for its prolific and useful activity on social networks. Indeed, it has just been nominated twice for #hashtags 2024, by the Observatoire de la #compublique numérique.
Gers stands out on the Internet
The #hashtags 2024 prize rewards, every year, the communication strategies on social networks, of the various local authorities, such as departments and regions. This year, Gers managed to stand out once again thanks to its InfoRoute32 account. This Facebook account for road safety information therefore allowed the Gers department to be nominated in the “awareness and citizenship” category.
InfoRoute32 is followed by some 4,100 people. Thanks to this page, the people of Gers can follow the traffic conditions on the 4,000 km of roads in the department. Also, residents can be quickly informed if accidents have recently occurred on the Gers national roads(…) Read more on 20minutes
