Road checks in Haute-Corse: a motorcyclist traveling at 202 km/h arrested

This Sunday, Corsican gendarmes carried out several speed checks, intercepting two speeding drivers.

In Lucciana, a motorcyclist traveling at 202 km/h instead of 110 km/h on RT11 was arrested.

In Solaro, a driver was caught doing 173 km/h on a road with a speed limit of 80 km/h.

The two offenders had their licenses revoked and their vehicles immobilized. The gendarmerie reminds that speed is the leading cause of death on the roads in Corsica, calling for caution to avoid tragedies.
