An icon of horror cinema, the legendary Friday the 13th returns to the forefront with a 4K Ultra HD edition for its Chapter 2: The Friday . Released in 1981, this cult slasher , directed by Steve Miner, marks a crucial stage in the saga of Jason Voorhees, the merciless killer of Crystal Lake.

Abandoning the supernatural aspects of the first film, this second installment focuses on Jason’s thirst for vengeance, now turned into a ruthless assassin. Written by Ron Kurz, the screenplay plunges us into the heart of a group of reckless youths who, ignoring warnings, venture onto the cursed shores of Crystal Lake. They will then face absolute horror, hunted by the iconic masked killer.

To the delight of fans, Paramount announces the upcoming release of Friday the 13th: Chapter 2: The Friday Killer (1981) in 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray version. Available in France from October 9, this combo edition will bring together the UHD and Blu-ray discs of this second opus.

Pre-orders are opening soon.
