In this book, the British author Tillie Cole tells the story of Poppy and Rune, two lovers since childhood who separate when the young man moves to Norway. An exile that will last two years, and undermine his relationship with the beautiful Poppy, who will stop responding to his messages and disappear completely from his life, for no apparent reason.

A moving book that addresses themes dear to teenagers
Written for a teenage audience, the book explores several themes that are very important to these young readers: love, fidelity, betrayal, and the anguish of losing a loved one. In A thousand kisses for a boy, Tillie Cole addresses all of these concepts with accuracy and emotion, to the point of upsetting all those who read it. On the community site dedicated to reading Babeliothe opinions are unanimous: you have to read the book with a box of tissues nearby, because tears are never far away. Every young reader can find themselves in the turpitudes of Rune and Poppy, some find comfort there, others find themselves reminded of a past story.

The sequel to A Thousand Kisses for a Boy has just been released… and is already a hit!
Building on the success of A thousand kisses for a boy, Tillie Cole published the sequel to the novel, titled A thousand pieces of broken hearts. A book in which we follow new characters, Savannah and Caël, and which has a link with Poppy… but we won’t say more. Just published by Hachette Roman, it’s already had a nice start in bookstores. We wish it the same success as its older brother.
