As in Tokyo, Marie Patouillet launched France’s haul. The 36-year-old from the Paris region, trained by Grégory Baugé, won silver in the C4-5 para-cycling track time trial (500 m) on Thursday. She took advantage of the fall of British Kadeena Cox, world and Paralympic C4 record holder, to slip from third to second after qualifying with a time of 36.700.
