There was a crowd at the premises of the Accueil des Villes Françaises (AVF) organization this Friday, January 17, 2025 for the traditional galette des rois, in Quimper. This structure specializing in leisure clubs organizes numerous activities for its members throughout the year. But this year, the president of Force T Quimper Jean-Yves Bajeux was the guest of honor for this evening. The president of AVF Gisèle Favory invited him to give him a check for €1,943.50 after the Telethon activities in December 2024. The volunteers of the association were strongly mobilized in partnership with the municipalities of Quimper and Plogonnec , organizing pancake sales, as well as musical entertainment, among others.
Matthieu Sterviniou, deputy in charge of disability and solidarity, indicated that “the people of Quimper were there for this 2024 edition, with Quimper the ambassador city of this Telethon. It’s a successful bet in terms of prize pool.”
In fact, more than €90,000 will soon be sent to the French Myopathy Association (AFM).
