Marquees have been erected on the beaches of Prado, in , near the statue of David.

BIAC invests the Prado beaches

Between January 16 and February 8, 2025, the International Biennial of Circus Arts (BIAC) sets up shop in Marseille, near the beaches. On the program, several circus performances, with various companies, of duration and intended for various ages.

It starts this Thursday, with « Sabotage » and its acrobatics, hoops, contortions, trapezes, and Chinese poles… The show is accessible from 20 euros.

In total, 4 marquees were installed, offering 5 shows and 44 performances.

Established in Marseille for almost 25 years

Archaos, Pôle National Cirque, established in Marseille since 2001, “supports the creation, dissemination and practice of contemporary circus arts”, specifies the BIAC website.

Co-directed by Raquel Rache de Andrade, Guy Carrara and Simon Carrara, Archaos created the BIAC – Biennale Internationale des Arts du Cirque and the Entre2 BIAC. “Since 2015, these highlights have quickly become unmissable events for the public and professionals,” the organization further specifies.
