Montauban. I Muvrini in concert: ticket office already open

The concert halls of the City of unveil a first announcement of performances for the 2025/2026 season, the ticket office is already open. I Muvrini, the flagship group of Corsican songs, will offer a major concert in the Eurythmie room, Sunday November 30, 2025. Ambassador of Corsican culture, I Muvrini defends the traditions of the Isle of Beauty.

Mixing current sounds with the ancestral tradition of polyphony, the singers are an integral part of the world music movement. I Muvrini was formed at the end of the 1970s around the Bernardini brothers, Jean-François and Alain. From their father Ghjuliu, who recorded in the family home, they inherited the science of traditional polyphony, before opening up to folk song or world music. The I Muvrini group “fights all forms of sectarianism and in particular contempt for small languages, assigned to folklore or exoticism”.

By singing in one of these marginalized languages, “I Muvrini breaks down barriers and reaches out to those who do not yet understand that the world is inhabited by the diversity and plurality of our cultures”. I Muvrini will thus touch the hearts of those who, in the heart of our territories, work for a revitalization of the Occitan language. A concert at the tempo of beating hearts.
